Dust laden air is drawn through a suction hose (not shown) into the casing la, 1, the dust being separated at the outer surface of the dust bag 5 to fall into the casing from which it is emptied on removing a lid 8. A handle may be provided on the bag 5 for vibrating a spring 7 to clean the bag. Straps (not shown) are provided for supporting the cleaner on the back of a user. |
