Here the additives may react and the water becomes quiescent before passing into flotation cell 4 by aperture 3a with the sediments sliding over the sloping surface into the flotation tank. Water fed in with air through grid 12 is clarified and removed through 8 while floated solids are removed through 14. Water discharged at 8 may be aerated and recirculated. |
