PURPOSE: To limit a fixing light source to one kind and to simplify the control of a part such as a lighting device or a socket by controlling irradiation energy so that the irradiation energy of the (n+1)-th thermal color forming layer becomes larger than that of the n-th thermal color forming layer. CONSTITUTION: At first, an image is recorded on an yellow color forming layer to be fixed by a fixing light source and, next, an image is recorded on a magenta color forming layer to be fixed by the fixing light source. The thermal recording energy at this time is made larger than the heat energy at the time of the thermal recording of the yellow color forming layer. Finally, an image is recorded on a cyan color forming layer to be fixed by the fixing light source. The thermal recording energy is made larger than the heat energy at the time of the thermal recording of the magenta color forming layer. By this constitution, the fixing light source can be limited to one kind and the control of a part such as the socket of a lighting device can be simplified. |
