PURPOSE: To obtain a manifestation vector pAC02 holding a DNA coding for a human CRF receptor protein and useful for the production of the protein e.g. for the screening of a preventing and treating agent for stress inadequacy, neurosis, psychosomatic disease, arthrorheumatism, etc. CONSTITUTION: This new manifestation vector pAC02 contains a human CRP receptor gene holding a DNA coding for a human corticotropin releasing factor (CRP) receptor protein, capable of expressing a recombinant human CRP receptor protein at a high level when introduced into a CHO cell and enabling the screening of human CRP receptor agonist/antagonist using the cell, manifestation protein or its partial peptide. The manifestation vector is useful for the development of a stress adaptation promoting agent, a hypotensor, a gastric and intestinal function controlling agent, an autonomic nerve system controlling agent, etc., as agonist and agents for the prevention and treatment of depression, inflammatory diseases, immunoinsufficiency, AIDS, Alzheimer's disease, Cushing's disease, hypotensor, etc., as antagonist.
