Evaporation products obtained from a - fluidised bed

Vaporisable materials e.g. Zn, Pb, Mg, S or P are obtained in a fluidised bed. Small granules of solids or atomised liquids containing them are fed from above into a fluidised, carbon granule bed, heated electrically so that the products evaporate and are removed from the bed in the form of a gas. The gases serve as fluidisation gas for the bed.
