PURPOSE: To make an accurate component recognition regardless of the sizes of components in a component mounting device constituted into such a structure that the images of the components acquired at a component feeding part are fetched. CONSTITUTION: A mounting head 25 is provided with a rotating part 27 and at the same time, suction mounting nozzles 28 and 29 are respectively provided on the point parts of the part 27. A transmitted light source 30 is provided in the middle part of the nozzle 28 and a reflective plate 31 is provided in the middle part of the nozzle 29. An imaging device 26, which has a line sensor 32, a lens system 33, a mirror 34, a reflected light source 35 and a beam splitter 36, is provided integrally with the head 25 on the side of the head 25. The sensor 32 fetches continuously cut images slender in the X-axis directions of components P therein at prescribed intervals in the middle of the rotational movement of the nozzles 28 and 29, which respective acquire the components P, to the direction shown by an arrow (a) and a vision controller detects the positions of the components on the basis of data on the images. The light sources 30 and 35 are used properly according to the sizes of the components. |
