<p>Dirt and rain deflectors (2) are attached one on each side of a tiltable lorry driver's cabin (1) in order to divert the air stream from the sides of the vehicle, and in particular the side windows, as the lorry travels along. Each deflector has a pressed, ribbed surface with several ribs (10) positioned parallel to one another with their axes lying at right angles to the deflector's longitudinal axis and hence aligned with the direction of motion of the lorry. The deflectors lie within the widest width of the cabin, are attached to the leading corners of the vehicle and therefore can tilt forward with the cabin.</p> |
