Remote supply system for strongly branched cable network - with voltage distributed over balanced two-core cable and voltage stabilised by transformer unit

The remote supply system cable network transmits several signals, pref. t.v. signals. Repeaters in series with the signals are provided as loads supplied from a supply point. The distance supply consists of a balanced two-core cable carrying a.c. voltage of about 950 V, and the loads are connected through similar controller supply units to the double core cable. The distance supply voltage is generated by transformation of the 220 V mains voltage, maintained constant by a transformer type voltage stabiliser.
