Tall reinforced chimney shell and lining arrangement - has prefabricated rings, with lengthways reinforcement in radial lining intervals

The industrial-type chimney has external shell, internal lining, and reinforcement extending partly along the chimney length, and partly as a closed annular reinforcement extending in a plane radial to the chimney's longitudinal axis. The sheel (14) and lining are assembled from prefabricated annular elements (16, 18) set one on top of another, with a radial spacing provided for the lining elements (18). The lengthways reinforcement (22) is fitted in an intervening space (20), formed by this spacing and filled with site cast concrete.
