The cutting tool is for cutting a cylindrical channel in a bone of a patient before the insertion of an artificial implant. The tool is composed of one cylindrical section with a serrated cutting edge. The closed end of the cylinder has a shaft extending perpendicularly from it for insertion into the chuck of a rotating drill. A second section is inserted into the hollow shaft and this has a series of rotor-like blades to cut away the bottom of the channel once the first cylindrical section has cut the annular side walls.
