<p>The indicator panel displays analogue and numerical signals, and these are combined on the same panel. This allows an operator to monitor several analogue measurements simultaneously or to obtain the precision of the numerical display. An indicator panel (2) comprises the front face of an enclosure (1) and carries circles (3) of a dark colour around a luminous source (4) provided byan LED. The circles are arranged in columns for hundreds (c) tens (d) and units (u) with a straight line (5) between them to facilitate reading. These columns are arranged in ten tows with an adjacent contrasting figure to indicate the number. A plate (6) on the panel indicates the parameter being displayed. The decimal coded binary signals for this parameter are decoded drive the LED sources.</p> |
