<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the entry of slime into refined metal by slightly inclinedly providing coarse metal anode groups that their bottom ends position to the (-) side with respect to perpendicular line at the time of performing series electrolysis of non-ferrous metals such as Cu. CONSTITUTION:The coarse metal groups 1 which are dissolved and electrodeposited through series current supply are so disposed with a certain inclination (angles of inclination 0.5-15 deg.) with respect to perpendicular line that their bottom ends position to the (-) side. As a result, the slime separating from the elution face A of the coase metal plates 1 has less changes of sedimenting on the electrodeposition face B at the time when it sediments in the electrolyte 3, thus the deposition of the slime becomes less. This method prevents abnormal electrodeposition and yields the product of high purity such as electric copper.</p> |
