Foam plastics padding for motor vehicle dashboards is moulded in a mould whose cavity is lined with >=2 preformed plastics foils whose adjacent edges overlap one another, to prevent displacement the overlap is secured by staples or clips. Alternatively, the securing may be effected by clamps or clamping blocks carried by the mould.
