PURPOSE:To perform subtle cntrol to the height of a wick by turning a latch shaft, as well as to improve handleability to a combustor, by enabling to elevate a wick and to set a vibration sensing mechanism in order to automatically extinguish flames, by operating an operational lever only. CONSTITUTION:When a depression-button 68 is depressed and an operational lever 63 is pushed downward around a pin 64, a latching lever 61 is pivoted to the counterclockwise direction, centering a wick elevating shaft 14, in accordance with a connecting rod 67 which is moved to the left hand in a doglegged hole 66. Following the pivoting movement of a latching lever 61, a latch shaft 42 is moved forward, by the intermediary of a movable body 48, and at the same time, a guide pin 50 pivots a pivoting arm 53 to the counterclockwise direction. With such operations mentioned above, the wick elevating shaft 14 is pivoted to the same direction, and a wick body 6 is elevated by the intermediary of a crank body 12. The above-mentioned latch shaft 42 is moved in the state that a spring 52 is compressed, and is held at its moving end, by the engagement of both the latching claw 45' of a latch 45 and the latching shaft of an operational plate 57. The engagement is released when the operational plate 57 is moved upward by the rockable movement of a weight 37 in a vibration sensing mechanism 36. |
