A hydraulic drilling motor for well drilling with axial flow, mainly for the drilling of oil and water wells which is provided with internally threaded chamber the axis of which is parallel with the direction of flow, with an externally threaded spindle arranged in it which is characterized by forming the cross section of the spindle or chamber as an extended, peaked, or looped cycloid, and the shaft of the spindle is excentrically arranged in relation to the axis of the shaft. Furthermore, one of the main units of the drilling motor, in the given case the spindle or chamber is centrally arranged in relation to the external jacket of the equipment.
