<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the apparatus in size, by securing to a rotary shaft a brake plate having an outside diameter substantially equal to that of an armature, and imcorporating an exciting coil in a bracket. CONSTITUTION:An exciting coil 17 is mounted inside a bracket 18 of a motor. One end of a brake pin 19 is secured to the bracket 18, and an armature 20 is slidably engaged through an engaging groove 20a bored with a predetermined depth. The brake pin 19 is disposed so as not to penetrate the armature 20 and so as to be lower than the end surface of the armature 20. A brake plate 22 having an outside diameter substantially equal to that of the armature 20 is secured at such a position of a rotary shaft 2 as to face a lining 21, and a fin 23 is provided integrally with the brake plate 22. Thus, the apparatus can be reduced in size, and it is possible to lower the level of sliding noises and the like.</p> |
