PURPOSE:To prevent a line flicker by providing additionally field memory on a scan line interpolating circuit and using the previous field information for deciding the scan line interpolation in the current field. CONSTITUTION:One signal among RGB signals color-demodulated is inputted to an input terminal 1. Line memories 3, 4 and 5 are written and read out by R/W control signals 12-14 at the prescribed timing. The read-out signal is supplied to an interpolating circuit 21 through a switch 6. Field memories 23 and 24 are alternately written and read out by switching signals 27 and 28 from a field memory control circuit 26, and the picture information delayed by one field is supplied to the circuit 21, which decides an interpolating signal with use of a piece of information of previous and current fields. |
