PURPOSE:To make all functions of a compressor interruptible after its discharge capacity comes to the minimum, by detecting the position of a bypass valve in a bypass port connecting a compressing space to a suction space, and controlling a solenoid valve in an intermittent manner. CONSTITUTION:Displacement of bypass valve 412 in a bypass port 411 between a compression space 133 and a suction space is detected by pressure of a control pressure chamber 423. When a pressure sensor 600 detected a pressure drop in the control pressure chamber 423, a solenoid clutch 225 is made to come off, interrupting power of an automobile driving engine. Accordingly, all functions of a compressor is interruptible after its discharge capacity has come to the minimum.
