PURPOSE:To enable it to be freely mounted on or removed from a magnetic contactor and to facilitate assembling and to simplify constitution by building in a semiconductor switching element, and providing a connection piece, which is to be connected with the coil terminal of an electromagnetic contactor, and a coil power source terminal. CONSTITUTION:The coil terminal 2 of an exciting coil is provided at the side of an electromagnetic contactor 1, and a hooking recess 4 is provided on the bottom side of the electromagnetic contactor 3. A coil driving unit 10 is provided with a connecting piece 11 to be connected with the coil terminal 2, a coil power source terminal 12 to be connected with the operation power source, and an optical connector 13 to be connected with an optical fiber 20. Hooking projections 4a are provided at both walls of the engaging recess 4 of the electromagnetic contactor 1, and a uniting piece 10 is provided at the side opposite to the coil power source terminal 12 of the coil driving unit 10, and this uniting piece 10a is made to engage with the hooking projection 4a of the engaging recess 4. Hereby, by the optical signal transmitted through the optical fiber the exciting coil of the electromagnetic contactor can be controlled for electrification, and it can be mounted on the sidewall of the electromagnetic contactor by one-touch. |
