A child building block, which may be used to produce a variety of patterns, consists of pieces of both rectangular and square cross-section. The blocks may have slotted grooves on two adjoining sides, enabling joining in various ways with square or rectangular blocks with or without protruding sections. The basic block (1) has side walls (6) which each have a groove (5) and a second groove (7). A connecting block (11) may be of rectangular cross-section having protruding sections (12) which fit into the grooves.
|
