<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the title adsorber and to obtain a high-purity product gas by charging almost spherical synthetic zeolite into a cylindrical adsorption tower, and allowing the inner diameter D of the adsorption tower and the diameter (d) of the zeolite grain to fulfil D<=300(mm) and 10<=D/d. CONSTITUTION:The almost spherical synthetic zeolite is charged in the cylindrical adsorption tower in the pressure-swinging adsorber. The inner diameter D (mm) of the adsorption tower and the diameter (d) (mm) of the zeolite grain are allowed to fulfil D<=300 and 10<=D/d. When the grain diameter of the adsorbent is excessively small, the gas flow resistance is increased, and the purity is lowered. When the grain diameter is excessively large, the effective adsorption area is reduced, and the adsorption efficiency is decreased.</p> |
