A pneumatic switch, in particular for controlling the inflation pressure of tyres, has an electrically conductive diaphragm (5) that covers a reference pressure chamber (4) and is sealed around its circumference to a housing (2). When the inflation pressure to be controlled exceeds a given threshold value, the diaphragm (5) bears against a contact pin (7) which extends through the reference pressure chamber (4). A pressurized medium inlet stub fills the reference pressure chamber (4) with a gas under a predetermined pressure. In order to obtain a particularly simple, cost-effective design with a good and defined sealing effect, the contact pin (7) has a longitudinal channel (11) and acts as an inlet stub for the pressurized medium. |
