PURPOSE:To prevent breaking of a lamp bulb by using an elastic material for a cylindrical socket mounting a lamp bulb, while integrally providing the socket with a plurality of leg pieces, fixing tips of the leg pieces on the body side and floatingly holding the lamp bulb. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical socket 1 to mount a lamp bulb 2 is formed of an elastic material, the socket 1 is provided with two leg pieces 3 in the front direction and with one leg piece 3 in the rear direction while being integrally formed, and two leg pieces 3 on the front side are provided with holes 4 on their tips while the right and left holes are connected by a bridge part 5. The rear side leg pieces 3 are integrally provided with an inset part 6 on their tips, a cord terminal is mounted on the base of the socket 1 and a lamp bulb 2 is mounted. Then, the inset part 6 of the tip of the rear side leg piece 3 is inserted into a fixing hole 11 provided on the body 7 in order to mount the socket 1 in a floating state. Accordingly, the socket 1 can magnify a floating effect by selecting the length and the thickness of a plurality of leg pieces 3 and elasticity of the elastic material. Thereby, breaking of a lamp bulb can be prevented. |
