摘要 PURPOSE:To improve both of electrostatic chargeability and photoconductivity and to provide the wavelength of a laser wavelength region with the excellent photosensitivity by incorporating a binder resin, an inorg. photoconductive material, a perylene black pigment and yellow, magenta and cyan quinone dyes having no functional groups into the above toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the binder, the photoconductive material, the perylene black pigment, and the mixed dyes of three colors and is prepd. by dispersing or compatibilizing these materials into a solvent, etc., and pulverizing the dispersion or soln. by a grinding method, etc. The binder resin is exemplified by various polymers, such as, for example, styrene polymers, etc. Zinc oxide is more preferably used as the photoconductive material in terms of a high memory characteristic and photosensitivity. The sensitizing dyes are added together with the photoconductive material to provide the toner with the sensitivity in near IR to IR regions. Cyanine dyes are preferably used as such sensitizing dyes. The degradation in the electrostatic chargeability and photosensitivity of the toner are prevented in this way and high-density images are obtd. The black photoconductive toner having the excellent sensitivity with about 780nm wavelength is thus obtd.
