PURPOSE: To provide a pinball game machine capable of attracting interest of players by compressing and recording a large quantity of image data which are offered to a player as a variety of fine images even by an image data memory of low capacity. CONSTITUTION: Compressed image data stored in a character ROM 56 are composited by a compositing IC57 for JPEG, to recover the original actuality image data, which are mapped on a VRAM in a VDP B54 and transmitted from the VDP B54 via an image switching circuit 58 to, and displayed on, a CRT display 35. As a result, the compressed actuality image data can be recovered to the original data, to be variably displayed on a variable display device. |
