CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer sheet for forming a relief image obtained by forming a thermally expansible layer 3 on one surface of a base material sheet 1, the thermally expansible layer 3 contains a foaming agent and a resin binder and the number-average mol.wt. of the resin binder is 1,000-30,000.
