PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device which can control the carrying of a transfer sheet, whereby the position of a leading page can be selected when a document is an odd number page. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device capable of multicopying where either document consecutive copying by means of which copies are successively made on the surfaces of transfer sheets in document page order or both-side copying by means of which copies are made on both sides of a transfer sheet can be selected is provided with: a page detecting means 37 for counting turn-over pages of the consecutively fed documents; an operation/display panel 39 for selecting the position of a preceding page on a transfer sheet for the positions of the (n) page and (n+1) page of the documents; and a control part 38 in which the driving system of the device is connected to the output side. When the page number of the document is an odd number, the control part 38 stops the operation of the driving system in the image forming device by a signal from the page detecting part 37 and sets the posture of carrying the transfer paper so that the image position is set according to the signal from a document set selection operating part. |
