PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time of scrolling a window screen by a pointing device in a window system. CONSTITUTION:The pointing device 2 is moved, its moving data is inputted to a main device 1 through an input/output control part 15 and in the main device 1, a central processing unit 11 sends input data to a display controller 13 and the display controller 13 fixes a cursor in the window screen and the fixed cursor is displayed by a display device 3 through a display memory 14 as information for scrolling the window screen by a vector in the reverse direction to the moving of the pointing device.
