<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a recording liq. which hardly blurs, has an excellent weather resistance, and is resistant not only to flowing water but also to friction in water by compounding a specific copolymer, an aq. medium. a pigment, and a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:A recording liq. comprises a copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing a functional arom. monomer selected from the group consisting of (a deriv. of) styrene and (a deriv. of) vinylnaphthalene, a carboxylated monomer selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic acid, crotonic acid, (a monoester of) itaconic acid, (a monoester of) maleic acid, and (a monoester of) fumaric acid. and, if necessary, another copolymerizable monomer (e.g. a methacrylic acidstyrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer), an aq. medium (e.g. an aq. soln. of diethylene glycol), a pigment (e.g. carbon black), and a compd. which forms a salt with the copolymer (e.g. triethylamine).</p> |
