<p>PURPOSE:To enable the forming of a torque detection shaft as fine as possible by keeping a bending load or the like working on a power transmission shaft from being applied on a torque detection shaft of a torque sensor to allow a torque alone to work on the torque detection shaft. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 2 and a driven shaft 3 are supported on a case 5 with bearings 4, 6, 10, 12 and 13 with none thereof connected directly. A torque detection shaft 20 other than the shafts 2 and 3 is supported on the case 5 separately with a bearing 23. The drive shaft 2, one end of the torque detection shaft 20, the other end of the torque detection shaft 20 is connected to the driven shaft 3 in linkage mutually with gears 17, 18, 21 and 22. A torque applied is transmitted to the torque detection shaft 20 through a gear but a bending load or the like is supported with the bearings on the side of the shafts 2 and 3 and thus, no torque is transmitted to the torque detection shaft 20.</p> |
