PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic actuator which can one-or two-dimensionally move in a plane and can be easily incorporated in a cylindrical part. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic actuator is provided with an elastic body 11 composed of a hollow discoid elastic material, piezoelectric elements 21 and 22 which are joined to the elastic body 11, are excited by driving signals A and B, cause the elastic body 11 to generate expanding/contracting vibrations and flexural vibrations so that a prescribed part of the elastic body 11 can make elliptical motions, driving power fetching member 31 and 32 provided at prescribed parts of the elastic body 11, etc. |
