PURPOSE:To magnetically shield developer transferred to an opposed electrode by a magnetic force of developer conveying means and obtain a record image having no turbulence by providing a magnetic shielding member at a specific interval from a recording electrode at a downstream side of a recording unit having the recording electrode and the opposed electrode. CONSTITUTION:A record image forming unit has a developing unit 7 arranged above an auger roll in a developing and recording tank. The unit 7 has a magnet roll 21, a developing sleeve 22 containing the roll 21, a recording electrode sheet 23 laid on a surface of the sleeve 22, and a scraping plate 24. In this case a magnetic shielding member 25 is provided at a specific interval in a downstream direction from an end of a recording electrode EL directly at a downstream of a recording unit W having an opposed part of an opposed electrode 5 and the electrode EL. Thus, a magnetic field at a downstream side from an end of the electrode EL is so shielded by the member 25 as not to arrive at a peripheral surface of the electrode 5, thereby preventing turbulence of a toner record image. |
