PASTE TYPE NICKEL POLE FOR ALKALINE STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE: To enhance electronic conductivity of the surface and the interior of a particle and the utilization factor of an active substance by mixedly including metal nickel into the surface and the interior of a nickel hydroxide particle. CONSTITUTION: An electrolytic solution comprising aqueous solution containing nickel nitrate and nickel sulfate or nickel chloride is electrolyzed at the current density of about 50mA/cm<2> for about 5 hours to obtain a paste type nickel pole for an alkaline storage battery in which a powder comprising composite particles containing metal nickel of average 0.1 to 10wt.% in the surface and the interior of a nickel hydroxide particle is adopted as an active substance.
