PURPOSE: To obtain a toner fixable at a low temp. without using an anti- offsetting liq. even in the case of high-speed fixation by a heat roll fixing system. CONSTITUTION: This bonding resin for producing a toner consists of a resin (a) obtd. by bringing a mixture contg. the stock monomers of a condensation- polymerized resin, the raw monomers of an addition-polymerized resin and a compd. capable of reacting with any of the raw monomers into a condensation polymn. reaction and an addition polymn. reaction at the same time in the same reactor, an addition-polymerized resin (b) and a condensation-polymerized resin (c). The addition-polymerized resin part of the resin (a) is compatible with the resin (b) and the condensation-polymerized resin part of the resin (a) is compatible with the resin (c).
