摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, which can form an image in almost any condition of atmospheric air and which is provided with a detector at a high signal-to-noise ratio. (gallium arsenide, translucent film, chrome oxide, silicon, air plane). SOLUTION: A passive millimeter wave image forming system structured as an integrated circuit is provided. This image forming system is provided with a lens 18, and the lens 18 converges the radiation 16 from a scene 12 to a detecting unit 22 provided on a focal plane of the lens 18. This detecting unit 22 is provided with an external array 32 of a ferroelectric element 34, and each element 34 includes a vertex part metal film and a ferroelectric layer. The millimeter wave radiation 20 from the beam accumulates charge in the ferroelectric layer. This accumulated charge is recognized by an appropriate amplitude and signal processing circuit related to a read-out electronic device, and the signal for showing an object in the scene 12 is supplied to a video system. The ferroelectric layer can be used as an antenna for each pixel element.</p>
