<p>PURPOSE: To smoothly perform an automatic filling packaging by a method wherein the bottom surface of a container consisting of polystyrene resin foam is given a dynamic friction coefficient of not more than a specific value in order to prevent the troubles such as caused by the heaping or running of the containers on one another in the process of sliding the bottom surface of the container and by the turnover of the container taking place when the container is slid down a sloping plate for guiding to a transfer device. CONSTITUTION: A container 1 for use in an automatic filling packaging including the process of sliding the bottom surface of the container between transfer devices or on such a device is obtained by thermoforming the extrusion-molded foam sheet of polystyrene resin and the bottom surface of the container consists of at least polystyrene resin foam and has a dynamic friction coefficient of at most 0.9. Particularly in the case where the bottom surface of the container has a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.40-0.85, the occurrence of trouble can be effectively prevented, even if the speed of transfer line is increased, and the container good in bottom surface slidability can be obtained extremely simply as desired by giving a surface layer density of at least 0.3g/cm<3> to the surface of the extrusion-molded foam sheet of polystyrene resin corresponding to the bottom surface of the container prior to thermoforming.</p> |
