<p>PURPOSE: To carry out the high grade printing by preventing stitching from developing by a method wherein printing data of overlapping region are divided into the data, which allow to pring by upper line, and the data, which allow to print by lower line. CONSTITUTION: Two vertically neighboring bands 1 and 2 are printed by being overlapped with four dots. By applying image processing to the bit image data of the overlapped portion, stitching is made inconspicuous. While, no processing is applied to the bit image data except for the overlapped portion. Concretely, four dots A, B, C and D in the overlapped portion are distributed into the portion, which is printed by the four dots at the lowermost end of the band 1, and the portion, which is printed by the four dots at the uppermost end of the band 2, for printing. Thus, stitching is prevented from developing and high grade printing can be executed.</p> |
