Combined fireproof-sealing profile, e.g. for fireproof doors

A combined sealing/fireproof profile, comprising (A) a known sealing profile made of rubber, vulcanised rubber or plastic material and (B) a fire-resistant sealing material in at least one cavity of profile (A), in which material (B) contains (a) 30-70 wt% hot-melt adhesive, (b) 1-15 wt% binder, (c) 1-15 wt% of substances which form a carbon network when exposed to fire, (d) 1-25 wt% fire retardants and (e) 10-40 wt% intumescent component. Also claimed is a process for the production of such profiles by coextrusion of components (A) and (B).
