<p>A control valve for the mandrel collection system of a rivet setting tool is described. The control valve (50) features two shut-off modes; the first effected by a manual quarter-turn operation, and the second effected by an actuator stem (63) located on the base of the tool and occurring when the operator puts the tool down on a support surface.</p>
