A packaged food article (40) includes a meat product (44) and a thermoplastic, heat shrinkable film. The film (12) includes a meat-contact layer that contains a polymer which includes mer units derived from a C2-C4 alpha -olefin. The film (12) is sealed so as to form a bag which encloses the meat product (44). At least one of the seals defines an arc which includes at least four segments (18a-18e). Each of the segments (18a-18e) has a radius of curvature (24a-24e) which differs from the radius of curvature of any adjoining segment. When the packaged food article is subjected to a temperature of from about 50 DEG C up to about the Vicat softening point of the polymer of the meat-contact layer, the packaged food article (40) takes the general shape of a poultry breast.
