PURPOSE: To provide a fuel cell power generating equipment and a system using this equipment applied to, for example, portable power generating equipment, a vehicle driving power source, home-use power generating equipment, and a stationary type generator. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell power generating system having a fuel reformer 25 which reforms raw fuel to hydrogen rich fuel gas and supplies it to a fuel cell main body, and the fuel cell main body 16 with a hydrogen electrode to which the reformed fuel gas is supplied and an air electrode, a turbo compressor 11 for supplying air to the fuel cell main body and calorie required to reforming to a fuel reformer 25, and a burner device 18 are arranged. For starting power generation, the turbo compressor 11, the burner device 18, and a starting device are operated, and air is supplied to the fuel cell main body and calorie required to reforming is supplied to the reformer 25. After the turbo compressor is transferred to self rotation, the starting device is stopped, and when the catalyst temperature of the reformer reaches operation temperature, the raw fuel is reformed, and the fuel cell main body starts power generation. |
