PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection multi-screen display device with high definition where a problem of joints is solved. SOLUTION: In the display device where one screen can be formed by combining a plurality of projection display devices, a 1st projection display element 4 with lower resolution and higher luminance and a plurality of 2nd projection display elements 2 with higher resolution and lower luminance are placed side by side spatially and the respective projected lights are overlapped on a screen to obtain a screen image with high resolution.
