PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception mechanism and a handset, which suppress the leakage of a reception sound and the infiltration of outer noise, which can hear the reception sound in a satisfactory state, whose feeling of a reception part against an ear is satisfactory and whose appearance impression is satisfactory. SOLUTION: At least three coil springs 17 arranged on a virtual circumference at the intervals of equal angles between a reception part 15 and a grasping part 12 which supports the reception part 15 in an arbitrary direction so that it can rock. Thus, the reception part 15 can be rocked to the direction and the angle, which are matched with a form near an ear 18, and any user can bring the whole reception part 15 close to the ear 18. The reception part 15 is restored to an initial position against the grasping part 12 after a reception call terminates.
