PURPOSE: To shorten a temperature rising time from the time of print ready in an ON state of a power source to temperature at which a photosensitive body and peripheral devices are not dewed and to perform control controlling temperature of a photosensitive body within an used range without increasing a manufacturing cost with high reliability by stopping a cooling fan for a fixed time from the time of print ready. CONSTITUTION: When a power source of an electrophotographic type copying machine is turned on, a cooling fan 12 is turned on, while voltage is applied to main sections of a picture forming device such as a thermal fixing device 8, a control panel display and the like, and it is made a standby state. When the thermal fixing device 8 reaches setting temperature in this standby state, it is made a print ready state, and this is displayed on the control panel. And a cooling fan is made OFF at temperature To when it is made a print ready state, and it is stopped for a time T1 previously set. And this time T1 after, the cooling fan 12 is made ON again, and it is rotated. |
