PURPOSE: A system for remotely controlling a computer and searching data by using a mobile phone and a method therefor are provided to enable a user to remotely control a computer and read out data stored in the computer by using a mobile phone so that the data can be displayed on a screen of the mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone(10) is carried by a person. Mobile phones are subscribed for a network provider internal network(30) to a communication therebetween. A base station(20) connects the mobile phone(10) and the network provider internal network(30). A gateway(40) connects the mobile phone(10) to the Internet(50) according to a request from the mobile phone(10) in the network provider internal network(30). An agent server(60) controls a computer(100) requested by the mobile phone(10) according to a command inputted to the connected mobile phone(10). The computer(100) is controlled by the agent server(60). A remote-controlling target computer includes the remote computer(100) consisting of the agent(60) for transmitting the same reaction as that of a Web server, a file system(70) adjusted by the server(60), and hardwares(80) such as a video card, a LAN card and a sound card.
