The invention concerns a safety device for electrically operated hand tools (1), in particular circular and compass saws in which the motor drive is transmitted via a clutch plate with a clutch (10) to a tool (5) fitted on a tool carrier (4). The safety device in question is provided with an electronic sensor circuit (SÜS) with lifting magnet control (HS) which, if the tool (5) comes into contact with any part of the operator's body, breaks the connection between the drive motor (8) and tool (10) by causing the clutch magnetically to disengage. To ensure easy re-engagement of the clutch (10) where there is no danger to the operator, it is proposed that the disengageable clutch should be provided with coupling elements (13, 16) capable of axial displacement or radial excursion, the said coupling elements being displaced/lifted by a lifting magnet (15) once energised out of the seats (11, 25) which create the force flux. |
