FIELD: motor transport; braking equipment acting directly onto road surface. SUBSTANCE: braking device has control cable, brake member and hinged four-link mechanism through which brake member is connected with vehicle frame. Used as second link arranged opposite to frame is another brake member. Frame and brake member are hinge-coupled to each other by means of third and fourth links with automatic adjustment of length, for instance, made in form of power cylinders, telescopic rods or rigid extensible tie-rods. Brake member is made in form of brake platform common for rear wheels, end of control cable being rigidly secured at axis of symmetry of brake platform. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. |
