PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured and low-cost disk player by simplifying a positioning mechanism which centers two kinds of large and small disks inserted in the apparatus at a prescribed position. SOLUTION: A disk guide plate 1 is arranged in the back side of an insert opening 3, and a first guide groove 4 with almost the same groove width as the outer diameter of a small diameter disk SD and a second guide groove 5 with almost the same groove width as the outer diameter of a large diameter disk LD are formed on the disk guide plate 1 at different heights. A roller bracket 2 is turnably supported by a supporting shaft 7 provided in the near side of the disk guide plate 1, and a first driving roller 8 is journalled by the supporting shaft 7. A pair of arms 2b are extended from both right and left sides of the roller bracket 2, these arms 2b are provided with an inclined plane tapered toward the first guide groove 4 from the second guide groove 5, and a second driving roller 9 is journalled in the tip parts of both arms 2b. The small diameter disk SD inserted at a biased position is butted on the inclined planes of arms 2b by controlling the rotation of the roller bracket 2, and is guided in the center of the first guide groove 4.
