PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulating storage and transport container which includes a case 2 having a lining 3 made of a thermal insulating material at the entire surface of its inside and is used for keeping fresh foods at a preservation temperature preferably between 0 to 4 deg.C. SOLUTION: The container has a diffuser cover 4 equipped with an independent refrigerating source 7 for keeping the inside of the case 2 at the preservation temperature for a specified period of time, and the diffuser cover 4 is connected to a thermal bridge 9 through a support container 8 and furthermore, a thermal insulating cover 5 for entire thermal insulation is provided at a position above the diffuser cover 4.
