PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal, a position information acquisition support server and a mobile communication system which reduces restrictions for acquiring reference position information by designating a place for executing place-related operations and improves handling convenience. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal comprises a place information inputting means for a user to input place information, a sending means for sending the place information to a position memorandum WEB server 40 via a portable telephone communication network 20, a receiving means for receiving map image information generated based on the place information from the server 40, a displaying means for displaying the map image on the basis of the map image information, a designating means for the user to designate the relative position of the place on the map image, a sending means for sending the information of the relative position to the server 40, and a receiving means for receiving the information of the absolute position corresponding to the relative position as reference position information from the server 40.
